Jan. 8, 2019 – Netting on soccer goals will be removed during the off-season in the City of Hamilton after a deer became hopelessly entangled in a net on Sunday and had to be euthanized afterward. A wildlife rescue organization has recommended all municipalities remove netting from soccer goals during times when it is not needed.
